Broken window

This morning as I was leaving the apartment complex I saw that somebody had broken the window of the front door. I took the opportunity to serve our neighbors and clean the mess.

Today we celebrated one of Sammy's best friend's graduation. Beautiful time!

Bobby hit by a TV set

Tonight we went to a Chinese restaurant with Rali's sister and her family. Great food, great time together! Just before we left, Bobby got up to go wash Teddy's hands ... and with his head hit a stand which was "holding" an old heavy TV set. Because the TV set was not in any way tighten to the stand ... it fell on Bobby's head and then on the floor. Neither Bobby's head nor the TV set were broken ... Bobby only has headache. Psalm 91

Teddy's birthday present

Going to an amusement park was Teddy's birthday present. We all had so much fun there. Thank you Lord for the great weather, too!

Light in the darkness

After the minibus broke down today, our natural reaction should have
been to be upset and frustrated. Sitting by the side of the road we
looked toward the sky and it was as God said: "Look, there is always
light in the darkness." Be encouraged today--the Light will pierce
your darkness.

Troubles with the minibus

Today we went to Varna (about 70 miles from Shumen) to shop for some things we need for the new place where we'll live. On our way coming back the minibus just stopped. We prayed for help and then called a friend from church. Sometimes angels come in man's clothes.

Moving to a new place

We've been looking for a new place to live, since the one we are
living in now is too small. Yesterday we found a house that will fit
our needs as a family. Today we decided that this is an answer to our
prayers and confirmed our desire before the owner that we want to rent it. Tomorrow we will get the keys. Thank you, Papa!

Good bye, Hendersons!

We are sad, because the Henderson family is leaving Shumen today and Bulgaria tomorrow. We will miss you guys terribly!

Today was a very special day!
Several men gathered in Veliko Tarnovo to meet their wives, who spent the last 6 days alone with God on the mountain.

I am sitting here this morning watching how somebody else is washing my car.
It's amazing what water can do. The car looks different after the wash.
Besides my car my soul needs washing, too.

Sammy at English competition

Today Sammy and one other boy from his class were chosen to represent their school at an English competition.
It was organized by the biggest chain of Schools for Foreign Languages in Bulgaria.
When we got there we found out, to our biggest surprise, that the total number of children at the competition is less then 10 - from the whole town.
Thank you, Daddy for putting Sammy in such unique situations.

Bobby waiting for X-ray

I haven't been feeling well for the last 2-3 weeks.
Today I finally went to see the doctor.
She send me for an X-ray almost positive that I have pneumonia.
I had to wait more then an hour for the X-ray and was getting rather impatient.
I felt God speak to me: "When you need a spiritual X-ray, and son you need that very often, you have to take time ... with Me".
Thank God I didn't have pneumonia ... but I will take antibiotics for 10 days.

Sammy took Raley to school with him. At first Riley was a bit scared but then he liked it very much.

Remembering Jesus during picnic

It is our family practice to remember Jesus every time we eat and drink. Two days ago we had guests - Richard Henderson with his two sons (Riley and Maddox) and together we went to the Shumen Fortress where we spent the whole afternoon together.
