Go and make disciples ...

Last year Rali and I started a discipleship course with our 3 children and separately the same course with 12 adults. From Day1 we laid the vision down in front of our disciples: you are being discipled so you can make disciples.

In the end of Book1, our middle son (Samuel), only 13 years old, told me: "Dad, I am already thinking about discipling 4 buddies from church". Well, he wasn't just saying this, he really meant it. About a week ago he talked to these kids and they all agreed. Today, they had their first meeting. Not only that, but 2 other teens from church heard about this and expressed the desire to join the group. And next week, our son will have 6 in his group.

Besides this, some of our other disciples are planning to start pass on what they've learned from us.

We can't stop rejoicing for what the Lord is doing in our family. This is all for God's glory!!!

Какво невероятно време имахме с Бог през последните 40 дена! От всички пости, този беше най-трудния за нас. Имахме много битки и предизвикателства, но сега очакваме големи победи и благословения. Благодарим на всички, които ни подкрепиха с пост и/или молитви! И въпреки, че този период завършва и навлизаме в нов сезон, ние продължаваме да вървим напред със словото, което Бог ни даде за тази година: "ВЯРВАЙ и ДЕЙСТВАЙ".

What an incredible time with God we had in the last 40 days! From all fasts, this was the hardest for us.We had many battles and challenges, but now we are expecting great victories and blessings. We thank all of you who supported us through fast and/or prayers! And even though this period is finishing and we are entering a new season, we are continuing to go forward with the word that God gave us for this year: "BELIEVE and ACT".

На тридесет и деветия ден от поста (08.02.2011) Рали навърши 37 години. Много хора й се обадиха или писаха, за да й честитят рождения ден, както и да й пожелаят всякакви благословения. Едно от обажданията дойде от наши дъгогодишни приятели от Америка. Чрез тях Бог не само насърчи Рали, но ни даде много отговори и потърждения за неща, които поставихме пред Бог в началото на този пост.

On the thirty-ninth day of the fast (08.02.2011) Rali turned 37. Many people called or wrote her to greet her for her birthday and to wish her all kinds of blessings. One of the calls came from a longtime friends from America. Through them God didn't only encourage Rali but gave us a lot of answers and confirmations about things which we laid before God in the beginning of this fast.

Сега се радваме, че междувременно Бог подбужда други хора да застанат в пролома за страната ни. Днес младежите от нашата църква започнаха верижна молитва. Боже, донеси мощно съживление в България!!!

Two days are left from our 40-days fast. God was so faithful and gave us strength and energy to persevere through every challenge. Now we rejoice, that in the meantime God stirs other people to stand in the gap for our nation. Today, the young people from our church started a prayer chain. God, bring a mighty revival in Bulgaria!!!

През днешния ден посетихме Мадарския конник - място, което още прабългарите са използвали за поклониение към техните богове. Там са пренасяни и много жертвоприношения на тези богове, което е мерзост пред живия Бог. Това място и до днес носи негативно духовно влияние върху цялата ни страна. Молихме се за разчупване на това влияние и изцерение на земята ни. Който има насърце нека да се моли за пълното освобождение на народа ни от наследствените проклятия, предадени ни от нашите предци.

During this day we visited the Madara horseman - a place, which even the proto-Bulgarians had used as a worship place for their gods. There they had also offered many sacrifices to these gods, which is an abomination to the living God. This place even until today carries a negative influence for the whole country. We prayed that this influence will be broken and our land to be healed. Whoever has it in his heart to pray for the full deliverance of our people from the curses, passed on to us by our ancestors.

Пастор Пламен, Дъглас, аз и мойте синове се изкачихме днес до Шуменската крепост, откъдето се молихме за града и нацията ни. След това отидохме на друго високо място край Шумен - Илчов баир, където е разположен Паметника "Създатели на Българската държава" и оттам пак се молихме за град Шумен. Утре планираме да се изкачим и на крепостта над Мадрския конник - друго стратегическо място в духовния свят. Ние вярваме, че тези молитви имат много важно духовно значение, тъй като България е започнала оттук, тук са се покланяли нашите предци на чужди богове, оттук тръгват много проклятия за нацията ни. Сега се молим оттук Бог да започне съживление, което да се разпространи из цялата страна.

Pastor Plamen, Douglas, me and my sons went up today to the Shumen fortress, from where we prayed for our city and nation. After that we went to another high place near Shumen - Ilchov Bair, where the Monument "Founders of the Bulgarian State" is located from where we prayed again for Shumen. Tomorrow we plan to go up to the fortress above Madara Horseman - another strategic place in the spiritual world. We believe that these prayers have very important spiritual meaning, because Bulgaria started in this region, here our forefathers worshiped foreign gods, from here many curses were spread to the rest of our nation. Now we pray that from here God will start a revival which to spread to the whole country.

Почти целия ден прекарахме с Дъглъс Лили, Божий човек с пророческо служение. Миналата година той пости и се моли за България 40 дена. Тази година отново бе воден от Бог да пости и да се моли 40 дена за страната ни. Интересно, че нашия пост се препокрива в по-голямата част с неговия. Днес споделяхме неща, които Бог ни открива в този период. Утре ще се качим на високите места край Шумен, за да се молим оттам.

We spent the whole day with Douglas Lilley, a man of God with a prophetic ministry. Last year he fasted and pray for Bulgaria for 40 days . This year he was led again to fast and pray for 40 days for our country. It's interesting that our fast overlaps with his for the most part. Today, we shared things that God is showing us during this period. Tomorrow we are going to the high places around Shumen to pray from there.

През изминалото денонощие Бог започна да ни разтърсва от основи. Минаваме през сезон на размисъл и преоценка. Чувстваме, че сме на прага на нещо велико, което Бог ще извърши. Притчи 3:5-6 оживя по нов начин за нас: " Уповавай (евр. Батякх: да имаш увереност, смелост, сигурност; да ложиш надеждаа си в някого; да не се страхуваш за себе си) на Господа от все сърце и не се облягай на своя разум. Във всичките си пътища признавай (евр. Яде: да виждаш, да различаваш, да познаваш от опит, да разпознаваш, да бъдеш познат) Него, и Той ще оправя пътеките ти".

During the last 24 hours God began to shake us from our foundations. We are going through a season of rethinking and revaluation. We feel we are on the threshold of something great that God is going to do. Proverbs 3:5-6 came alive in a new way to us: "Trust (Heb. batach: to be confident, to be bold, to be secure, to feel safe, be careless, to set one's hope and confidence upon any one) in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit (Heb. yada: to know, to perceive and see, find out and discern, to know by experience, to recognise, admit, acknowledge, confess) to him, and he will make your paths straight".

От снощи на гости у нас е наш дългогодишен приятел и съработник Еди Кокс от организацията Навигаторите. Основният фокус на Навигаторите е създаване и отглеждане на Христови ученици. Днес, с Еди обсъждахме и се молихме как можем да изпълняваме Голямото Поръчение на Исус да отидем и да правим ученици в световната обстановка, в която живеем сега. Това е много важно особено когато се молим за съживление в страната ни. Ако ние не сме подготвени да поемаме хората, когато повярват може да стане като при предното съживление в България през 90-те години - много хора бяха новородени, но после не бяха отгледани. Планираме в края на март т.г., съвместно с Навигаторите, да проведем един форум върху ученичество в Шумен. Ако някой се интересува може да ни пише за повече информация.

Last night our long-time friend and co-worker Eddie Cox from the Navigators arrived in our home. The main focus on the Navigators is making and developing of Christ's disciples. So today, together with Eddie we discussed and prayed about how we can fulfill the Great Commission that Jesus gave us to go and make disciples, in the midst of the world situation we are living in. This is very important especially if we are praying for revival in our nation. If we are not prepared to disciple the people that become believers we may see the same results as in the last revival in Bulgaria during the 90s - many people were born again, but then they were not raised. We plan in the end of March this year, together with the Navigators to hold a forum on discipleship in Shumen. If someone is interested, write us for more information.

Боби беше помолен да проповядва днес в град Смядово. Той насърчи църквата там със слово от 2 Летописи 7:13-14. В края на събирането преживяхме присъствието на Святия Дух много осезаемо докато Боби помазваше всеки един от присъстващите поотделно. Завършихме с Господна трапеза и общение (вижте снимките по-долу). Ето и едно свидетелство, с което искаме да прославим Бог: преди няколко месеца започнахме да се молим за нов десктоп компютър, като този път молихме Бог за iMac. Да си купим такъв компютър е много отвъд нашите възможности и затова се нуждаехме от чудо. И то се случи - едни наши приятели от Америка, които току що се бяха оженили ни се обадиха преди около 4 месеца и ни съобщиха голямата новина: "Купихме ви iMac"! Дотук добре, ама ние сме в Бълария, а компютъра в Америка. Друг наш приятел се съгласи да го донесе, но се натъкна на друг проблем - компа не се събира в стандартен куфар. Та се наложи да купува специален куфар, за да го донесе ... и тази вечер "чудото" се приземи на масата в нашата всекидневна.

Bobby was asked to preach today in the city of Smyadovo. He encouraged the church there with a word from 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. In the end of the meeting we experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit in a very tangible way as Bobby was anointing each individual in the room.We finished with the Lord's supper and fellowship (see the pictures above). We also want to share a testimony to glorify God with: a few months ago we started to pray for a new desktop computer and this time we were asking God for an iMac. To buy such a computer is beyond our possibilities and for this reason we needed a miracle. And it happened - our friends from the US, which had just gotten married, called us about 4 months ago and announce to us the big news: "We bought you an iMac"! So good so far, but we are in Bulgaria and the computer is in America. Another friend agreed to bring it to us, but faced another problem - the computer doesn't fit in a regular suitcase. He needed to purchase a special suitcase to be able to bring it ... and tonight "the miracle" landed on our dining table.

Преди известно време имаше пророчества за трите ни деца, че ще прославят Бог чрез музикални инструменти. Миналата година Теодор получи китара за рождения си ден. След това някой предложи Йоана да ползва едно електронно пиано, а Самуел събираше пари и с малко помощ от наша страна си купи комплект барабани. Бог промисли за учител по пиано на Ани. После и за Сами се намери инструктор по барабани. Теди получи първия си урок по китара днес. "Пророчества не презирайте", ни съветва ап. Павел в 1 Солунци 5:20. Сега отделете малко време да си пропомните пророчествата, които сте получавали през годините и очаквайте тази година някои от тях да започнат да се изпълняват.

Some time ago prophetic words were spoken about our three children that they will praise God through musical instruments. Last year Theodore received a guitar for his birthday. Then someone offered Joanna to use one electronic piano and Samuel was collecting money and with little help from us bought a set of drums. God provided a piano teacher for Annie. Later, a drum instructor was found for Sammy. Teddy had his first guitar lesson today. "Do not despise prophecies" apostle Paul advises us in 1 Thessalonians 5:20. Now, take some time to remember the prophecies which you've received through the years and expect this year some of them to be fulfilled.

Сутринта получихме писмо от една българка, която има служение в Америка. В него тя споделя, че вчера е била на една пророческа конференция в Калифорния, където се е запознала с един пастор имащ връзка с различни ходатайствени служения в САЩ. След като тя му разказала за България, той бил докоснат и предложил в следващите две седмици да мобилизират 50,000 ходатаи да се молят за Бъгария, а след това още 200,000. Само при мисълта за това започвам да виждам България променена. Братя и сестри, ако това не е знак, че Бог насочва вниманието си към страната ни, не знам какво още трябва да стане, за да се събуди църквата в България и да си завзема територията.

This morning we received a letter from a Bulgarian lady, who has a ministry in America. She shared that yesterday she attended a prophetic conference in California, where she met a pastor who is connected with different intercessory ministries in the US. After she shared with him about Bulgaria, he was touched and suggested in the next two weeks 50,000 intercessors to be mobilized to pray for Bulgaria, and later increase them to 200,000. Only when I think about this I begin to see Bulgaria changed. Brothers and sisters, if this is not a sign that God is turning His attention to our country, I don't know what else needs to happen for the church in Bulgaria to wake up and posses its territory.

И днес продължаваме да се чувстваме добре физически и духовно. През по-голяма част от времето слушахме Молитвената стая от Международния Молитвен Дом (www.ihop.org) на живо и доколкото можехме участвахме в това, което се случваше там. Между другото, препоръчваме горещо на всеки да гледа техните предавания на живо (напълно безплатно и без абонамент), защото благословението и помазанието, което се излива от там е невероятно.

Today we continue to feel well physically and spiritually. During most of the time we listened to the Prayer Room from the International House of Prayer (www.ihop.org) live and we participated as much as we could in what was happening there. By the way, we recommend strongly to everyone to watch their broadcasts live (it's free), because the blessing and anointing that flows from there is incredible.

Още един труден ден мина. На няколко пъти се чувствахме сякаш, че неприятеля ни е нокаутирал. Но Словото е вярно, че: "Угнетявани <сме> отвсякъде, но не <сме> утеснени; в недоумение <сме>, но не до отчаяние; гонени <сме>, но не оставени; повалени <сме>, но не погубени. Всякога носим на тялото си убиваното на [Господа] Исуса, за да се яви на тялото ни и живота на Исуса. Защото ние живите винаги сме предавани на смърт за Исуса, за да се яви и живота на Исуса в нашата смъртна плът. Така щото смъртта действува в нас, а животът във вас".

One more hard day is gone. Several times today we felt like the enemy has knocked us down. But the Word is true that: "We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don't give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. Through suffering, these bodies of ours constantly share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies. Yes, we live under constant danger of death because we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be obvious in our dying bodies. So we live in the face of death, but it has resulted in eternal life for you".

Днешната проповед беше върху притчата за сеяча (Лука 8:1-15). Това, което ни "удари" и Рали и мен се намира в стих 15: "А <посяното> на добра земя са тия, които, като чуят словото, държат го в искрено и добро сърце, и дават плод с търпение" Сякаш за първи път видяхме думата "търпение" в изречението. В оригинала думата е хупомоне и означава: постоянство, твърдост, издръжливост, търпеливост, устойчивост. Тя описва човек, който заради своята вяра издържа най-големите изпитания и страдания. Този стих ясно ни показа, че даването на плод не е толкова лесна работа. Господи, дай ни сили да хупомоне!

Today's sermon was on the parable of the sower (Luke 8:1-15). What "hit" Rali and me is found in verse 15: "But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience" It was as if we saw the word "patience" in the sentence for the first time. In the original the word is hypomonē and means: steadfastness, constancy, endurance, perseverance. It describes the man who for his faith endures even the greatest trials and sufferings. This verse showed us clearly that bearing fruit is not so easy job. Lord, give us strength to hypomonē!

The number twenty two, being the double of eleven, has the significance of that number in an intensified form,—disorganization and disintegration. Opposite of this, today we prayed and started to fix different areas of our life where disorganization reigns. "For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people". 1 Corinthians 14:33

В този пост Бог продължава да затвърждава нашата вяра в Него. Толкова е трудно да не гледаш на обстоятелствата, а да се довериш на Него. Днес неколкократно бяхме предизвиквани точно в това. Сутринта пяхме една песен, в която се казва: "Даже и светът да се руши, живея за Твоята слава". Да, Господи, искаме независимо от това, което се случва около нас, ние да живеем за Твоята слава!

In this fast God continues to establish our faith in Him. It's so hard not to look at the circumstances but to trust in Him. Today, on several occasions we were challenged exactly in this. This morning we sang a song and one of the lines says: "Even if my world falls I will say: Above all, I live for Your glory". Yes, Lord, we want to live for Your glory, regardless of things happening around us!

Много неща в нашия живот като че ли са на пауза в момента, но ние чакаме да започнат да се раздвижват.

The number 20 in the Bible is signify EXPECTANCY. Here are a few examples:
- Twenty years Jacob waited to get possession of his wives and property, Genesis 21:38,41.
- Twenty years Israel waited for a deliverer from Jabin's oppression, Judges 4:3.
- Twenty years the Ark of the Covenant waited at Kirjath-jearim, 1Samuel 7:2.
- Twenty years Solomon was waiting for the completion of the two houses, 1 Kings 9:10
- Twenty years Jerusalem waited between its capture and destruction; and
- Twenty years Jeremiah prophesied concerning it.

Many things in our lives seem like they are on stand by in the moment, but we are waiting for them to start moving.

"But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings(B) like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint". Isaiah 40:31

Приближавайки се към средата на поста, Бог ни дава все по-голямо желание да се молим не само за нашите собствени нужди, но и за нуждите на обществото, в което живеем. Тази вечер Боби беше поканен да проповядва и неговия основен текст беше Даниил 9 гл. и вземайки пример от пророка, ние като църква се покайвахме от името на града и нацията. Ходатайствахме за това Божиите планове и намерения да станат реалност за народа на България. Боби мотивира отново, който може да се включи в това застъпничество с пост и молитва. България принадлежи на Христос!

As we are approaching the middle of the fast, God is giving us greater desire to pray not only for our personal needs, but for the need of the society in which we live. Tonight, Bobby was invited to preach and his main text was Daniel chapter 9 and taking the prophet's example, we as a church repented on behalf of our city and nation. We interceded so that God's plans and purposes will become a reality for the people of Bulgaria. Bobby motivated again whoever can join in this intercession with fasting and praying. Bulgaria belongs to Christ!

С всеки нов ден от поста ние усещаме, че интензитета на духовното воюване в живота ни нараства. Де факто, колкото повече се приближаваме към Бог, толкова по-ядосан става врага. По тази причина ап. Павел ни съветва в Ефесяни 6: "Най-после, заяквайте в Господа и в силата на Неговото могъщество. Облечете се в Божието всеоръжие, за да можете да устоите срещу хитростите на дявола. Защото нашата борба не е срещу кръв и плът, но срещу началствата, срещу властите, срещу духовните <сили> на нечестието в небесните <места>. Затова вземете Божието всеоръжие, за да можете да противостоите в злия ден, и, като надвиете на всичко, да устоите. Стойте, прочее, препасани с истина през кръста си и облечени в правдата за бронен нагръдник, и с нозете си обути с готовност чрез благовестието на мира. А освен всичко това, вземете вярата за щит, с който ще можете да угасите всичките огнени стрели на нечестивия; вземете тоже за шлем спасението и меча на Духа, който е Божието слово; молещи се в Духа на всяко време с всякаква молитва и молба".

With each new day of our fast we feel that the intensity of the spiritual warfare in our life increases. De facto, the more we dray near to God, the angrier the enemy becomes. For this reason apostle Paul advises us in Ephesian 6: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Днешния ден беше изпълнен с всякакви емоции: задоволство, изненада, разочарование, объркване, радост, гняв, приемане, прошка. И във всичко това разбрахме, че Бог иска да ни научи да Му се доверваме независимо от обстоятелствата. Много пъти се молим: "Боже, води ни". В следващия момент влизаме в някое изпитание и започваме да роптаем: "Боже, какво правиш?". А Той тихо прошепва: "Отговарям на молитвата ти - водя те". Трябва да сме готови да последваме Бог дори и когато Той ни повежда към "долината на мрачната сянка".

Today's day was filled with all kinds of emotions: satisfaction, surprise, disappointment, confusion, joy, anger, acceptance, forgiveness. And in all of this, we realized that God wants to teach us to trust him no matter the circumstances. Many times we pray: "God, lead us". The next moment we enter some trial and begin to murmur: "God, what are you doing?". He quietly whisper: "I am answering your prayer - I am leading you". We must be ready to follow God even when He starts leading us toward the "valley of the shadow of death".

По време на неделната ни служба, Бог ни придизвика към пълно смирение и посвещение. Пастор Анатоли Янков проповядва върху Йона 3 глава. Там е описана реакцията на народа на Ниневия към предупредителната проповед на пророка, че Бог е на път да излее гнева си над тях - "ниневийския цар ... като стана от престола си, съблече одеждата си, покри се с вретище, и седна на пепел ... и Ниневийските жители повярваха в Бога; и прогласиха пост и се облякоха с вретище, от най-големия между тях до най-нищожния ... и като видя Бог делата им, как те се обърнаха от лошия си път, Бог се разкая за злото, което бе рекъл да им направи, и не го направи". During our Sunday morning service, God challenged us toward full humility and commitment. Pastor Anatoli Yankov preached on Jonah chapter 3. There we see the reaction of the people of Nineveh to the warning sermon of the prophet, that God is on His way to pour His wrath upon them - "the king of Nineveh ... rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust ... the Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth ... when God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened". Humbleness before the Lord and faith in Him always releases God's mercies and blessings. Днес беше ден за общение с нашите приятели Анатоли и Деси от Свищов. Споделяхме много истории за Божията благодат действаща в живота ни. Числото 15 се свързва с 5 (числото на благодатта) и 3 (числото на Божественото съвършенство) - 5 х 3 = 15. Така, че числото 15 означва БОЖЕСТВЕНА БЛАГОДАТ. Today was a day of fellowship with our friends Anatoli and Desi from Svishtov. We shared lots of stories of the grace of God working in our lives. The number 15 is connected with 5 (the number of grace) and 3 (the number of Divine perfection) - 5 x 3 = 15. Therefore, the number 15 means DIVINE GRACE. This is something Rali and I want to grow in more and more. Най-вълнуващото нещо през този ден беше това, което преживяхме през последните 6 часа на деня - вечер за хваление и молитва. Такива вечери правим в църквата един път в месеца. Те продължават средно по 6 часа и всеки път са уникални. Тази вечер преживяхме свежо изливане на Святия Дух и Той свърши много неща между нас. Два от основните молитвени фокуса бяха абортите и трафика на жени. Нека да обединяваме молитвите си и силите си за разрешаване на тези и на всички останали проблеми на нашето общество.

The most exciting thing today was what we experienced during the last 6 hours of the day - a prayer and praise night. We as a church do this kind of nights once a month. They usually last for 6 hours and every time they are unique. This evening we experienced a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and He did many things among us. Two of the main prayer focuses were the abortions and human trafficking. Let's unite our prayers and strength toward the solving of these and all the other problems of our society.

Днес се чувствахме отлично - и физически и духовно. Денят беше изпълнен с пътувания, срещи, задачи. Бог беше с нас и ни помагаше във всяка ситуация. Изкушения имаше, но Той ни даваше сили да ги преодоляваме. Продължаваме напред!

Today we were feeling excellent - both physically and spiritually. The day was filled with traveling, meetings, tasks. God was with us and was helping us in every situation. There were temptations, but He was giving us strength to overcome them. We are continuing forward!

След вчерашните борби, днес Бог ни даде голямо насърчение в лицето на едно семейство. Те дойдоха при нас с молба за нещо, за което двамата с Рали се молим отдавна. Разговаряхме, молихме се и се наслаждавахме на това как Бог е подреждал парчетата на пъзела още от преди. Днес също така прочетохме третата книга от Библията (Левит), чиито основни теми са СВЯТОСТТА и ПОКОРСТВОТО. Поздравяваме всички със Левит 26:3-13.

After yesterday's battles, today God gave us a great encouragement through one family. They came to us with a request about something that Rali and I have being praying about for a while. We talked, prayed and were delighted to see the way God has been arranging the pieces of the puzzle even from before. Today we also read the third book of the Bible (Leviticus) where the main themes are HOLINESS and OBEDIENCE. We greet everyone with Leviticus 26:3-13.

Денят почна страхотно - весело настроение, добри взаимоотношения, вдъхновена молитва, дълбоко поклонение. През деня - предизвикателства, радости, изненади, рутини. Края на дена е по-скоро ужасен - кратък разговор на по-висок тон, нарушени взаимоотношения, подтиснато чувство. Това е реалността на този живот, за съжаление. С право Павел казва: ""Окаян аз човек, кой ще ме избави от това тяло на смъртта?" Римл.7:24. Надеждата ни е, че един ден, когато напуснем тези тела и се преселим във вечността, ще бъдем свободни от тази греховна природа.

The day started great - joyful mood, good relationships, inspired prayer, deep worship. During the day - challenges, joys, surprises, routines. The end of the day was rather awful - short conversation with the wrong tone, broken relationships, depressed feelings. Unfortunately, this is the reality of this life. Paul was right when he said: ""What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?" Romans 7:24. Our hope is that one day when we leave these bodies and enter eternity, we will be free from this sinful nature.

Днес, докато се молихме осъзнахме, че много пъти това, което ни липсва не е водителство от Бога или ясно разбиране за Неговата воля, но кураж, увереност и дързост да свършим това, което вече знаем. Започнахме да се молим против объркване, съмнения и неувереност и в края на молитвата като, че ли вериги паднаха от ръцете ни. Изпълни ни вяра и вдъхновение. Започнахме да действаме с голяма лекота. Още един брат от църквата ни писа днес, че е започнал да пости ... Бог започва нещо велико в нашата нация!

Today, while we were praying, we realized that many times what we lack is not guidance from God or a clear understanding of His will, but courage, confidence and boldness to do what we already know. We started praying against confusion, doubts and diffidence and toward the end of our prayer we felt as if chains felt off our hands. Faith and inspiration filed us up. We started to move with great lightness. One more brother from the church wrote to us today that he's started to fast ... God is beginning something great in our nation!

Тази сутрин имахме гости в църквата. Едно младо семейство, което работи в най-трудния район на България - Родопите, район предимно населен с мюсюлмани. Те разказваха за това колко трудно се работи в този район. Въпреки, че са обиколили над 300 села вече с филма Исус, повярвалите все още се броят на пръсти. Нуждата от служители и средства е огромна. В края на събранието ни, аз (Боби) имах привилегията да се моля за тях и да ги благословя. След това събрахме дарение, за да ги подпомогнем. Рали беше подбудена да даде всичко от портмонето си за служението им, а аз бях подбуден да дам всичко от портмонето си за техни лични нужди. И двамата се почувствахме толкова благословени, както и Словото казва: "По-блажено е да даваш, отколкото да получаваш". След събирането на църквата няколко човека ни насърчиха като ни казаха, че ни подкрепят с молитва, а някои и с пост. Тези хора са като ангелите, които служеха на Исус, докато Той беше изкушаван в пустинята.

This morning we had guests in the church. One young couple, who works in the toughest region in Bulgaria - the Rhodopi Mountain, a region with primarily populated with Muslims. They shared with us how difficult it is to work in this region. Even though they've gone to more than 300 villages with the Jesus Film, the believers are just a few. The need of ministers and money is great. In the end of our meeting, I (Bobby) had the privilege to pray for them and bless them. After that we collected an offering to bless them. Rali was stirred to give everything from her wallet toward their ministry and I was stirred to give everything from my wallet for their personal needs. Both of us felt so blessed, even as the Word says: "It's more blessed to give than to receive". After the church meeting several people came and encouraged us when they told us that they are supporting us in prayer, some of them even with fasting. These people are like the angels which served Jesus while he was being tempted in the wilderness.

Числото 8 е символ на новото начало. Тази сутрин Бог изпрати два гълъба на нашия прозорец - единия чисто черен, а другия чисто бял. След малко белия сякаш прогони черния и тогава Теди каза: "Белият гълъб е като Исус, който прогони греха (черния гълъб) от нас". Ново начало в Исус! По-късно през деня цялото семейство четохме историята за излизането на Израел от Египет. Израел, представляващ нас. Египет, преобраз на царството на Сатана. Мойсей освободителя, прототип на Исус-Месията. Излизането на Израел от Египет - картина на нашето избавление от греха и Сатана. Ново начало в Исус! И както Израел трябваше да възпоменава деня на тяхното освобождение всяка година, така Исус ни каза да възпоменаваме новото начало в Него всеки път, когато "ядем тоя хляб и пием [тая] чаша". Днес ние Те възпоменаваме, Спасителю!

The number 8 is a symbol of new beginning. This morning God send two pigeons to our window - one of them totally black and the other one totally white. After a while the white one as if sent off the black one and then Teddy said: "The white pigeon is like Jesus, who sent off the sin (the black pigeon) from us". New beginning in Jesus! Later during the day we as a family read the story of Israel's exit from Egypt. Israel, representing us. Egypt, symbol of Satan's kingdom. Moses the Deliverer, prototype of Jesus the Messiah. Israel's exit from Egypt - a picture of our deliverance from sin and Satan. New beginning in Jesus! And as Israel had to remember the day of their deliverance every year, in the same way Jesus told us to remember the new beginning in Him every time when "we eat this bread and drink this cup". Today, we remember You, our Savior!

И благослови Бог седмия ден и го освети, защото в него си почина от всичките си дела, <от всичко>, което Бог беше създал и сътворил". И ние решихме да отдадем този ден повече на почивка и възстановяване. Четохме от Библията и размишлявахме, молихме се, разговаряхме. Колко е сладко Божието присъствие!!!

"By the seventh day God had finished his work. On the seventh day he rested from all his work. God blessed the seventh day. He made it a Holy Day because on that day he rested from his work, all the creating God had done". We too decided to commit this day to rest and recovering. Днес беше много труден ден - изпълнен с предизвикателства, неуспехи, разочарования и болка. Главите, които четохме от Библията описваха страданията на евреите докато бяха под Египетско робство. Посред тези мъки Бог им издигна Спасител (Освободител). Насърчение дойде и за нас чрез един Божий служител, който ни благослови със стиха от 1 Коринтяни 10:13 "Никакво изпитание не ви е постигнало освен това, което може да носи човек; обаче, Бог е верен, Който няма да ви остави да бъдете изпитани повече, отколкото ви е силата, но заедно с изпитанието ще даде и изходен път, така щото да можете да го издържите". Благодарим ти, Тате!

Today was a very difficult day - full of challenges, failures, disappointments and pain. The chapters that we read from the Bible portrayed the sufferings if the Jews when they were under Egyptian slavery. In the middle of these torments God raised up a Savior (Deliverer) for them. An encouragement came to us through a God's servant, who blessed us with the verse from 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it". Thank you, Daddy!

ДЕН 5 :: DAY 5

Благодарни сме на Бог за тези изминали пет дена. Той ни крепи, вдъхновява и благославя. Физиката на моменти отслабва, но духът е бодър. Днес се запознахме с едно младо турско семейство, с които имахме приятен разговор, включващ и Бог. Молихме се Бог да им се открива по реален начин. От днес ХЦ "Сион" - Велико Търново също започват 40-дневен пост (за повече инормация: http://nmstefanov.blogspot.com/2011/01/40-2011.html). Днес в България пристига пророк Дъглас Лили, който за поредна година е воден от Бог да пости за съживление в страната ни. Към края на месеца очакваме да ни посети в Шумен. Бог несъсмнено подготвя обстановката.

We are grateful to God for the past five days. He upholds us, inspires us and blesses us. The physical body gets week sometimes but the spirit is awake. Today we met a young Turkish family with which we had a pleasant conversation with God included in it. We prayed that God will reveal Himself to them in a real way. Starting today, Sion Church - Veliko Tarnovo is also starting a 40-days fast (for more information: http://nmstefanov.blogspot.com/2011/01/40-2011.html). Today, prophet Douglas Lilley is arriving in Bulgaria led by God to come and fast for revival for our country. We are expecting him to visit us in the end of the month. God, no doubt is preparing the atmosphere.

Днес беше ден на победи. Вчера един брат от църквата ни се обади, че днес ще влезе в болницата за операция. Молихме се с него за чудо и за пълно възстановяване. Когато днес е отишъл в болницата лекаря е решил да го прегледа за последно и установил, че няма никакъв проблем и операция не се налага. Слава на живия Бог! Освен това Бог ни даде още няколко отговора на молитви. Продължаваме да представяме и останалите нужди пред Него и вярваме, че на Неговото време ще бъдат отговорени. Днес четохме за живота на Йосиф и бяхме насърчени за това как Бог подреждаше събитията в неговия живот. Същият този Бог подрежда събитията и в нашия живот по изумителен начин.

Today was a day of victories. Yesterday one brother from church called us that today he will go into the hospital for surgery. We prayed with him for miracle and for full recovery. Today when he went to the hospital the doctor decided to check on him lastly and found out that there isn't any problem and there is no need for surgery. Praise to the living God! Beside this God gave us several more answers to prayers. We continue to present the rest of the prayer requests before Him and believe that in His time they will be answered. Today we read about the life of Joseph and were encouraged to see how God arranged the events in his life. The same God arranges the events in our lives in an amazing way.

Днес вниманието ни беше насочено главно към 2 събития - 15-тия рожден ден на дъщеря ни Йоана и да помогнем на една самотна майка. Първо за рождения ден: преди 15 години на този ден Бог ни благослови с първата ни рожба. Няколко минути след раждането лекарите ни съобщиха, че бебенцето има вродено заболяване (Синдром на Даун) и настояваха да я дадем за отглеждане в дом. Казаха ни, че и без това тези деца не живеели дълго (в домовете може и да е истина) и няма нужда да се мъчим с нея. Като вярващи, ние бяхме категорични, че ще си я вземем да си я гледаме и ... останалото е история. Сега Йоана е млада девойка в 7 клас, обичаща Бога и радваща семейството си. Относно второто събитие: днес имахме възможност да практикуваме Исая 58 глава, където Бог ясно заявява своята идея за поста, а именно да помогнеш и благословиш някой в нужда. Имахме привилегията да окажем практическа помощ на една самотна майка, чието най-малко дете е в един клас с нашия син Теодор. "Вяра без дела е мъртва" Яков 2:17,26

Today our attention was directed primarily toward two events - our daughter's 15th Birthday and the helping out of a single mom. First about the birthday: 15 years ago on this day God blessed us with our first child. Several minutes after her birth the doctors informed us that the baby has a congenital disease (Down Syndrome) and insisted that we send her to an institution. They told us that these children don't live long anyway (and most probably this is true for the institutions) and we should not struggle with her. As believers, we were firm that we will take her home ... and the rest is history. Now Joanna is a young lady in 7th grade, loving God and bringing joy to her family. Concerning the second event: today we had the opportunity to practice Isaiah 58 where God plainly communicates His idea about the fast - to help and bless the people in need. We had the privilege to practically help a single mom, who's youngest child is in the same class as our son Theodore. "Faith without works is dead" James 2:17,26

Тази сутрин, по време на богослужение , Бог ни говори чрез пастор Пламен, че всички сме части на Христовото тяло. Накрая ни беше раздадено по едно парче от пъзел, за да помним, че се нуждаем едни от други. След събирането разбрахме, че преди 20 дена друг брат от църквата е бил призован от Бог и е започнал продължителен пост, а следобяд няколко човека ни казаха, че ще се включат към поста - още едно доказателство, че Той като глава на тялото ръководи отделните части с изумителна хармония. С децата продължихме да четем книгата Битие (18-36 глави) а успоредно с това подредихме един сложен пъзел от 500 парченца. Накрая обсъждахме как Бог ни е говорил чрез всичко това.

This morning, during service, God spoke to us through Pastor Plamen that we are all members of Christ's body. In the end we were given a piece of a puzzle to remember that we need each other. After the meeting we found out that 20 days ago another brother from the church was called by God and have begun a long fast and in the afternoon several people told us that they will join the fast, too - one more confirmation that He as the Head of the body leads the different members in an amazing harmony. With the children we continued to read the book of Genesis (18-36 chapters) and parallel to that we worked a complicated puzzle of 500 pieces. In the end we discussed how God has spoken to us through all this.

Днес започнахме поста като прочетохме заедно с децата първите 17 глави от Битие и се застъпихме за различни молитвени нужди.

Today we started the fast by reading the first 17 chapters of Genesis together with the children and interceding for different prayer requests.

40 ДЕНА В ПУСТИНЯТА

Ние живеем в отчаяни времена, които изискват отчаяни действия. Грехът надделява и праведността се оттегля. Врагът изглежда по-силен от нас.

Започвайки от днес, Рали и аз навлизаме в пълен 40 дневен пост, за да търсим съживление, откровение и възстановяване лично за нас, за семейството ни, за църквата ни и за нацията ни.

Ако Духът ви подбуди да се присъедините към нас за ден, седмица или за цялото време ... направете го!

40 DAYS IN THE DESERT

We live in desperate times that call for desperate measures. Sin is overcoming and righteousness is retreating. The enemy seems stronger than us.

Starting today, Rali and I are going into a full 40 day fast to seek revival, revelation and restoration for us personally, for our family, for our church and for our country.

If you feel prompted by the Spirit to join us for a day, for a week or for the whole time ... let's go!
